Teen injured in Painesville shooting
PAINESVILLE, Ohio (WJW) – The Painesville Police Department is investigating a shooting.
It happened Saturday, April 20, around 3 p.m. in the area of Brentwood Drive and Chestnut Street.

Police say officers responded to a report of a fight and a shooting.
Once on the scene, they learned a teenager had arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for injuries.
Police say the victim is a 17-year-old male from Painesville. He has not been identified. Police say his injuries are non-life threatening.

Police have not released any information about a possible suspect.
