PARK TWP. — A bicyclist survived a crash with moderate injuries Wednesday, April 17, in Park Township.

According to a release, deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to Ottawa Beach Road west of Waukazoo Drive shortly after 7 p.m.

Upon arrival, they learned a 22-year-old Holland woman was driving a 2013 Kia Optima west on Ottawa Beach Road when a 15-year-old Holland bicyclist entered the roadway and was struck.

The teen was transported to Holland Hospital by AMR Ambulance. He was wearing a helmet. The driver of the Kia was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation by OCSO.
