Teen Arrested For Terror Threats Against Government Buildings in Two Arizona Cities: FBI
Federal and state authorities have arrested a teen in Arizona for allegedly making terroristic threats against government buildings.
Mahin Khan, 18, was arrested in Maricopa County on one count of terrorism and one count of conspiracy to commit terrorism after an investigation by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.
Spokeswoman Mia Garcia told CBS News Khan is accused of conspiring to carry out terrorism acts on government buildings in Phoenix and Tucson.
No further information was available regarding how the teen made the threats and his court records are sealed to protect the investigation, authorities said. The records will likely be released next week.
Garcia said there are no other outstanding suspects in the investigation and no threat to the public.
Authorities also said the threats had nothing to do with the July 4 holiday.

"The FBI believes there is no specific and credible threat information about possible attacks in the U.S. as we enter the July 4th holidqay," said Jill McCabe, a public affairs specialist for the FBI in Phoenix.
A judge has ordered Khan held in Maricopa County Jail without bond.
It remained unclear Sunday morning if Khan had retained an attorney.
