Teen arrested for allegedly brandishing gun at William Campbell High School

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Campbell County Sheriff reports an 18-year-old was arrested for allegedly brandishing a firearm on school property on the evening of Friday, April 27.

According to the sheriff, around 7:30 p.m., deputies were alerted of a person in the parking lot of William Campbell High School with a gun after an athletic event before leaving in a vehicle.

Deputies spotted the suspect’s vehicle on Gladys Road and conducted a traffic stop.

After a thorough investigation, 18-year-old Davor Rosser of Altavista was arrested for allegedly brandishing a firearm and possession of a firearm on school property.

Rosser was taken to Blue Ridge Regional Jail and is currently being held on a $2,000 secure bond.
