Teen accused of shooting that injured 10 at Sanford event center charged as an adult

A teenager arrested in a shooting that hurt 10 people has been charged as an adult.

Investigators shared surveillance video from the Cabana Live after the shooting last month.

People ran for cover as those shots rang out at that venue in Seminole County.

Investigators arrested 16-year-old Christopher Bouie shortly after the shooting.

Court records show Bouie was ordered Monday to be transferred from juvenile detention to the Seminole County jail.

He’s charged with five counts of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a minor.

Bouie is being held in the Seminole County jail pending an initial appearance hearing, scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, where his bond will be set.

Investigators say they are still looking for a second shooter.
