T-ball player adorably mimics one of MLB's most famous HR trots

Cleveland Indians slugger Edwin Encarnacion has hit 368 home runs during his distinguished MLB career, and somewhere along the way he developed Major League Baseball’s most famous home run trot now known as the “Edwing.”

You know the one. Encarnacion rounds the bases with his right arm elevated, extended and bent at the elbow like he’s carrying a parrot around the bases with him. It’s a one-of-a-kind home trot that’s been often imitated, but never duplicated. Until maybe now.

As seen on Twitter, a 4-year-old T-ball player busted out Encarnacion’s famous home run trot during a recent game, and we must say it’s our favorite attempt to recreate the “Edwing” that we’ve seen to date.

How awesome is that?

There are so many great aspects of this video that it’s difficult to a pick a favorite. Among the highlights, though, has to be his commitment to “Edwinging.” Knowing he got all of that hit, he went straight to it right out of the batter’s box and never lost steam during his trip around the bases.

Just as impressive, he knew right where the camera was on that approach to second base and milked his moment.

Clearly, we have a star in the making here. And we have Edwin Encarnacion’s creativity to thank for it.
