Teacher of the Week: Shanna Daniel

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The May 3 Concho Valley Homepage Teacher of the Week is Shanna Daniel, who teaches kindergarten through fifth-grade physical education at Fort Concho Elementary.

Daniel is described as a teacher who goes above and beyond for her students and their parents. She teaches her students dances and invites their parents to learn them so they can perform it together.

“All these kids around here is why I do it,” Daniel said. “I love teaching here and I am sad that I am retiring cause I’m going to miss our staff but I love what I do and that’s why I’ve done it for 29 years and I’ve done it 20 years at this school so that makes it even better. This is an amazing school.”

Daniel is retiring this year after 29 years of teaching.
