Missing Nashville teen found safe after Endangered Child Alert issued on his behalf

UPDATE: At around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, the TBI said Samuel Spear was found safe.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has issued an Endangered Child Alert for a teen missing out of Nashville.

Samuel Spear, 12, was last seen on Monday, April 29 in the area of McGavock Pike in Nashville. The TBI issued the alert around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30 on behalf of the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Authorities said Spear may be traveling in a black 2017 Dodge Journey with the Tennessee tag 257BHRY. When he was last seen, Spear was wearing a grey t-shirt, black zip-up hoodie and red and black checkered pants.
