Tazewell County restaurant 'is open and will remain open' while on the market
In Groveland, Woody’s Family Restaurant remains open for business.
The longtime restaurant – established in 1991 – went on the market late last year. An online Crexi listing notes that the space is being “offered as a turn key operation.”
Shortly after hitting the market, Woody’s Family Restaurant worked to clarify any confusion among customers. A Dec. 14 Facebook post stated:
“It's been brought to our attention that people are saying (Woody’s) is closed because we are currently on the market, that being said (Woody’s) is open and will remain open until the (restaurant) is sold! Woody said after 32 years he would never just close the (restaurant)!!!”
On March 4, the restaurant shared updated hours of operation on Facebook. Customers will now be able to visit the restaurant from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday. The establishment is closed on Mondays.
