Taylor County judge sentences Rule man to serve 20 years for child sex charges

TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A Rule man has been sentenced to 20 years on child sex charges.

Steven Thomason was charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child by Contact.

The incident took place in January of 2022, with a child younger than 10 years of age.

Thomason plead guilty to the charges in the 104th district court in Abilene, and was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison.
