Tatiana Maslany reflects on the Orphan Black finale

Tatiana Maslany has revealed her favourite aspect of the Orphan Black finale.
'To Right the Wrongs of Many' aired last night (August 12) and wrapped up the story of the Clone Club once and for all, by offing the remaining members of Neolution that had terrorised the groups for the last five seasons.
While the ending was seemingly a happy one and also a feminist win (read: a pregnant woman in labour stabs her oppressor with a knife), one character who struggled initially to the return of normalcy was the show's main protagonist, Sarah Manning.
One of the many roles played by the inimitable Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany, Sarah initially struggled to transition back to normal life after five seasons and 50 episodes of craziness, which Maslany has praised as her favourite part of the finale.

"My favourite aspect of the finale was the point when Sarah finishes off Neolution and Helena gives birth to the babies and then we kind of go forward in time and see what it means to have that freedom," she told The Hollywood Reporter.
"And how Sarah is kind of stuck and unable to move forward and unable to embrace this thing that she's fought so hard for.
"It's a very human thing to kind of dream about something and then when you've got it you don't know what to do with it. I love that conflict taking us into a happier resolution.
And as for a potential movie or future spin-off? Well, she's not ruling it out.
"If there was some story that we really wanted to tell that fit in the Orphan Black universe and it was vital and different and new then that would be super cool," she added.
"But we finished this before it trailed on too long so hopefully it left people wanting more as opposed to being like, 'Thank God that's over.'"
Orphan Black airs on BBC America in the US, and on Netflix in the UK.
