'Targeted' shooting at Florida Home Depot kills 1 person, injures 2

Aug. 11 (UPI) -- A shooting at a Home Depot in Pensacola, Fla., left one person dead and two wounded Friday.

The shooting happened at about 1:22 p.m., with police finding a contract employee dead when they arrived at the location.

Two other contract employees were grazed by bullets, according to authorities.

The store was evacuated, and law enforcement sealed the area with police tape after the shooting.

Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons said, "We do believe the victim was targeted."

The suspect, Kieth Eric Agee, 20, of Minette, Ala., was arrested after going to a nearby Mellow Mushroom restaurant to turn himself in, according to Police Sgt. Melony Peterson.

Authorities say Agee is being questioned and will be charged with murder.

The Pensacola News Journal reports that federal agents from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting the investigation.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
