Tara Lipinski got married this weekend, and we’re so happy for her!
Wedding bells are ringing! Former Olympic figure skater Tara Lipinski tied the knot with Fox sports producer Todd Kapostasy in Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday. Tara and Todd, who have been dating for about two years, seem head over heels for one another. They got engaged in December 2015.
The couple married at national historic landmark, Middleton Place, a sprawling, green-blanketed landscape that is now home to gorgeous manicured gardens. Formerly, the 65-acre property was an 18th-century rice plantation.
Tara’s wedding featured super romantic touches and plenty of southern charm.
“I had a vision, because I love a very soft romantic palette so lots of creams, light colors, touches of green with flowers,” Tara told People before the big day. “So we have orchids and roses on roses on roses.”

The sweet, feminine vibe also carried through in her wardrobe choices.
Tara walked down a 200-foot-long aisle in a Reem Acra gown, with 20-foot-long tulle skirt by Laura Basci. On her feet, she wore Charlotte Olympia heels. (Any fan of Tara knows that she loves her sky-high pumps.) Talk about bridal drama!
“I’m stunned by how beautiful it is,” Tara said of her wedding decor beforehand. “We’ll also incorporate lanterns and arches to give the wedding an ultra-romantic vibe.”

The food looked amazing, featuring not one, but TWO kinds of chicken and waffles as hors d’oeuvres. (Fried chicken in a waffle cone with maple bacon remoulade and fried chicken on mini waffles — yum!) One of the main courses was local fish.
The festivities also spanned more than just one day. Guests arrived two days early for a pre-wedding celebration at Boone Hall in Mount Pleasant.

The bridesmaids wore flower crowns that Tara’s mom, Pat, made herself. And Johnny Weir, figure skater and Tara’s BFF, joined the bridal party as a bridesman.
True to form, Johnny twirled Tara through her rehearsal celebration. They look like they’re having a blast.
