Tampa police looking to identify suspect caught stealing packages from home
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect who was caught on camera snatching a package from someone’s home last month.
“Can you help us identify this porch pirate?” the police department wrote on social media.
According to TPD, the incident happened on Feb. 13 just before noon on the 3000 block of West Arch Street.
The suspect was wearing a black face covering, a hat, and a Walmart apron when he snatched the package.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact TPD’s non-emergency number at 813-231-6130 or submit an anonymous tip by contacting Crime Stoppers at 800-873-TIPS (8477) or via TIP411. The case number is 24-850424.
