TAC hosts annual Altrusa International Art Fair
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Mesa County Valley School District 51 is having an art show at the Altrusa International Art Fair, happening at The Art Center of Western Colorado.
The fair showcases artwork by District 51 students. There’s a variety of art on display, and Altrusa provides expert judges to evaluate and give awards to students whose artwork stands out in each category.
The show runs from April 10-26. The big kickoff, called the Exhibit Opening and Award Ceremony, is on Friday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On that day, the high school ceremony is at 10:30 a.m. and the middle school ceremony is at 12 p.m. Attendance on Friday is free; all other days, admission is $3.
