Say it with me: SAG Awards #GOALS! The award season is our favorite because we love taking note of the daring fashion on the red carpet. After last night, we decided Sophie Turner’s straps at the SAG awards should have won their very own award. Seriously — we think asymmetrical straps are going to be the next big trend!

The SAG (Screen Actors Guild) awards highlight the best TV and films of the year, and the turnout was amazing. It seemed like this year especially, the red carpet fashion was STRONG. Game of Thrones‘ Sophie Turner stepped out onto the carpet wearing a custom Louis Vuitton gown designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere and Louis Vuitton high jewelry cuff and earrings! She finished off the look wearing a pair of Louis Vuitton Sandals in silver.

We love this look because it isn’t your average red dress. Although a red dress stands alone with its striking color, this classic silhouette received a major update with the details Ghesquiere focused on. Not only are we loving how sleek the look is (featuring a daring slit) but the straps are what we love the most. One strap almost has a ’90s retro feel with the spaghetti strap and then the other side has a thicker sleeveless strap.

Turner’s makeup is equally breathtaking. That bold red matte lip! That beige-gold shadow! Those beautiful arches! The whole look is flawless.

Move over Sansa Stark, Sophie Turner is proving time and time again that she is more than her Game of Thrones character. She is a style star in the making!
