T-Mobile donates $10K to Habitat for Humanity

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — T-Mobile presented a check for $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity on Saturday.

The funds will go to support the “Impactful Women Build” program that empowers women to get into construction.

The executive director for Habitat for Humanity said these types of contributions go a long way to help address the housing shortage crisis in Wichita.

“When we think about these new businesses that are being attracted to our community, where will folks live? And so there’s a real opportunity for folks to pour into the organizations that are answering the call for affordable housing, and T-Mobile is doing just that,” Danielle Johnson said.

Habitat for Humanity has now served over 300 families since starting in 1986.
