Syria Now Too Violent Even for Hamas

Syria has become too violent for Hamas -- the Palestinian party which is classified by the U.S. as a terrorist group -- and its leaders are considering moving their headquarters to the relative peace and quiet of post-Mubarak Cairo. Egyptian news site Bikya Masr's Manar Ammar reports that top Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar (pictured above) said Friday, "All the Palestinians in Syria are in distress, not just Hamas... There are many options in terms of the organization's headquarters and Egypt is one of them."
