Swiss skiers Lara Gut-Behrami and Marco Odermatt added World Cup super-G discipline titles to overall glory on Friday in the final super-gs of the season.

The women's race in Saalbach-Hinterglemm in Austria was won by the Czech Republic's Ester Ledecka, with the 32-year-old Gut-Behrami finishing in seventh place.

Italian Federica Brignone was second (0.28 seconds behind) and Austrian local favourite Cornelia Hütter fifth, but they were unable to dislodge Gut-Behrami from the top of the rankings for her fifth super-g title.

Gut-Behrami had already won her second overall World Cup and the giant slalom discipline globe.

She can still be crowned downhill queen on Saturday.

Lara Gut-Behrami told SRF: "The conditions were difficult for me. It certainly wasn't my best super-G. But in view of how the course was set up, I'm satisfied.

"It's all the nicer that I can enjoy moments like this with my dad."

Winning the big crystal globe and three small trophies in one alpine skiing has so far only been achieved by American great Mikaela Shiffrin, who missed out this year after skipping several races through injury. She did though claim the slalom globe.

In the men's super-g race, Odermatt finished fifth.

Austrian Vincent Kriechmayr, who still had a small chance of snatching the small globe, finished directly behind the 26-year-old in sixth place.

"I realized that I wouldn't have to overdo it in the race," Odermatt said. "It is the first time I have secured a globe in the last race."

Three of Odermatt's Swiss team-mates finished on the podium - Stefan Rogentin won his first World Cup race ahead of Loic Meillard and Arnaud Boisset.

The men's last downhill and the final race of the World Cup season is on Sunday when Odermatt can also grab the downhill globe to add to overall, giant slalom and super-g glory.
