Sweet Candy Cane Candle Holders

Instead of eating these seasonal sweets, we’ve got a different idea. The iconic red-and-white stripes can dress up your holiday table in the form of candleholders. Such a cute, easy idea deserves a try.  And once your meal is over, you’ve got a sweet treat to eat!

Materials:

  • Candy canes

  • Rubber bands

  • Ribbon

  • Taper candle

Tools:

  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Gather a handful of candy canes (enough to go around the candle) and fasten a rubber band around the base of the candies.

  2. Gently poke your taper candle through the gathered candy canes.

  3. Arrange the curved part of the candy canes so they flare out away from, and around, the tapered candlestick, acting as “legs” for the candle to stand on.

  4. Cut and tie a ribbon around the rubber band to cover.
