The CV90 is a family of Swedish tracked armored combat vehicles of 15 different variations. The vehicle crew is three people with seven or eight more troopers in it. The CV90 is equipped with a Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft Sight (UTAAS) from SAAB. It also has thermal imaging that allows it to conduct aimed fire on aerial targets at a range of up to two kilometers (1.25 miles) and on ground targets up to five kilometers (3 miles).
Sweden was preparing to provide Ukraine with 50 CV90 IFVs and Archer self-propelled guns back in winter, Kristersson said on Jan. 19.
