Sweden's Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar Receive Their Royal Christmas Trees in Adorable Photo

Christmas has arrived at the Swedish palace!

Princess Victoria and her children Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar took part in an annual Swedish royal tradition when they received their official Christmas trees on Thursday.

Agriculture students presented the trees to the Scandinavian royals in a tradition dating back more than 50 years.

In the photo, Victoria, who wore a festive red skirt, examines the trees as 5-year-old Estelle looks on in a matching red bow.

One-year-old Oscar can take his cues from his big sister, who is already an expert on the subject. The little royal joined her mom last year to accept their royal Christmas trees on the palace grounds.

Proud mom Victoria says her daughter is fascinated by her surroundings.

“Princess Estelle is very interested in everything about nature and the environment,” she told a group of biologists in October.

Let’s hope she has the decorating bug as well — there are a lot of palace trees that need ornaments!
