SWAT team mobilizes in Kilgore to arrest man on federal charges

KILGORE, Texas (KETK) – The North Texas Regional SWAT Team executed an arrest warrant in Kilgore on Friday.

According to the Kilgore Police Department, the SWAT team responded to 3002 Royal Drive to execute the arrest. Officials said that the individual who was wanted for federal charges “refused to come out and give himself up.”

Kilgore PD said that the SWAT team deployed tear gas and shortly after, the individual exited the residence and was taken into custody.

The unidentified individual was arrested and booked into the Kilgore Municipal Jail.
