SWAT standoff shuts down California freeway
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A SWAT standoff in Anaheim, California shut down a busy freeway on Friday.
According to NBC affiliate KNBC, a blue sedan is stopped in the middle of the 91 Freeway, blocked in by two SWAT vehicles.
Officials said a police chase that started in Corona ended in a standoff. According to KNBC, the driver is armed and there is no word on how many people are in the sedan.
Traffic is backed up for miles behind a large group of police vehicles.
