Swan Island Dahlias prepares for spring, opens new gift shop

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — You may have noticed signs of spring all around you like flowers are starting to bud as they hope to shake off winter weather soon.

Swan Island Dahlias in Canby is one of the places gearing up for some fun in the sun.

The farm is home to the famous Dahlia Festival held every summer.

AM Extra was joined by Heather Schloe, senior manager at Swan Island Dalia to talk about their spring plans and their brand new gift shop.
