Susquehanna County fire claims second victim

BROOKLYN TOWNSHIP, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A second person has died after a fire broke out Monday morning in Susquehanna County.

First responders were called to the fire around 5:20 a.m. on the 100 block of Ainey Road in Brooklyn Township.

One man died and a woman was flown to the Lehigh Valley Hospital due to injuries sustained in the fire.

Alleged fentanyl trafficker indicted in federal court

Tuesday morning, Lehigh County Coroner Dan Buglio said the woman, identified as 40-year-old Elizabeth Gunn, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Buglio ruled her death accidental.

The first victim has not been identified at this time.
