Suspects snatch $5K worth of sunglasses from NYC LensCrafters: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — A group of bandits stole over $5,000 worth of sunglasses from two LensCrafters locations in Manhattan in March, authorities said.

The first incident occurred on Friday at 4:47 p.m., according to the NYPD. A group of suspects walked into the LensCrafters located at 60 Broad St and stole $1,200 worth of sunglasses, authorities report.

Three days later, four suspects walked into LensCrafters located at 2770 Broadway at around 5:17 p.m., according to the NYPD. The group stole $4,100 worth of sunglasses before running away, authorities said.
