Suspects face trafficking charges at massage parlor in Tallmadge: Police

TALLMADGE, Ohio (WJW) – Multiple people were arrested on trafficking and prostitution-related charges as part of an ongoing investigation into an illegal massage parlor in Tallmadge, according to police.

Tallmadge police detectives led the multi-jurisdictional investigation at the Rainbow Spa in the 200 block of West Avenue, the police department said in a media release.

On Tuesday, investigators arrested Qiquan Li and Yuanyuan Wan, both charged with trafficking in persons, compelling prostitution and promoting prostitution, the release said.

Two males were also arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution, according to Tallmadge police.

Suspect in arson of Edgewater home arrested

Investigators say a trafficking victim was provided with resources and won’t face charges.

Tallmadge Police Captain Jeremy McGee told FOX 8 the case remains under investigation at this time.
