Las Vegas Shooting Suspect Reportedly Shoots Himself After Killing Two People

According to the Daily Mail, there have been three confirmed fatalities in the Las Vegas law firm shooting.

The alleged gunman reportedly turned his weapon on himself after killing two individuals during a deposition.

"We are investigating a shooting inside a business near Pavilion Center Drive and Charleston," Las Vegas Police said of the incident on X (formerly Twitter). "This is a dynamic event and multiple LVMPD emergency vehicles are responding. Please avoid the area. We will have more info soon."

The shooting reportedly happened at the Prince Law Group law firm.

Shortly after ten in the morning, the LVMPD got a report of a shooting inside a company located in the 10800 block of Charleston Boulevard.

In another statement, the Las Vegas police said, "All roads near Charleston Blvd. and Pavilion Center Dr. are closed. This includes Charleston Blvd. in both directions from Red Rock Dr. past Pavilion Center Dr. Avoid Area."

Per the news outlet, a person who lives near the scene of the shooting posted the aftermath via Instagram Live and noted that the situation was very "tense."

Las Vegas Police Confirm The Gunman Is Dead From A 'Self-Inflicted Gunshot'

Over an X, the LVMPD posted an update to the shooting incident, announcing that the suspected gunman has died and is no longer a threat to people's safety.

They wrote, "UPDATE 11:56 pm: per @Sheriff_LVMPD the shooter is deceased. There is no active threat to public safety."

"Per LVMPD Sheriff Kevin McMahill, this shooting occurred at a law office. There are two deceased victims, and the shooter is dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot," the official Las Vegas police department account stated.

The police department further noted that over a hundred people were evacuated from the multi-story building during the shooting.

"The multi-story office building and hundreds of people inside were evacuated during this incident. The motive and the relationship between the victims and the shooter are under investigation," the statement read.

They then announced that "Charleston Blvd. is now open in both directions. Pavilion Center south from Charleston remains shut down."
