Suspect steals tractor from construction site in South Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are looking for a man they say snuck onto a construction site and stole a tractor last week.

Man tried to rob store with 5-foot snake, police say

On April 10, officers responded to a theft on McLemore Avenue and Bellevue Boulevard. A Caterpillar backhoe was stolen from the area.

Videos showed a man crossing the street, getting into the tractor, and driving it south on Bellevue.

MPD says that the tractor has since been recovered. No arrests have been made at this time.
