Suspect sought after woman shot in Woodbine

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities say they are looking for a suspect after a Monday night shooting sent one woman to the hospital in the Woodbine area of South Nashville.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the 3200 block of Meade Avenue.

Woman attacked while walking dog in Bellevue

Authorities reported the woman was shot in the leg and was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

It remains unclear what led to the shooting. Police said no suspects have been taken into custody.
