Suspect sought in hit-and-run that injured Horry County bicyclist

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who fled after hitting a bicyclist early Saturday morning in Horry County.

The bicyclist suffered “great bodily injuries” in the incident, which happened at about 12:15 a.m. on Highway 1008 near Edgewood Road west of North Myrtle Beach High School, the highway patrol said. The vehicle was traveling west on Highway 1008 at the time.
