Suspect sought in connection with multiple armed robberies in Augusta area

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect wanted in connection with multiple armed robberies across the Augusta area.

30-year-old Dmond Jackson is facing those Armed Robbery charges related to at least 6 incidents, four of which occurred at the same store:

  • March 24 – TJ Mart on Kissingbower Road

  • March 25 – TJ Mart on Kissingbower Road

  • March 28 – TJ Mart on Kissingbower Road

  • March 31 – BP on Gordon Hwy

  • April 8 – Dollar General Deans Bridge

  • April 10 – TJ Mart on Kissingbower Road

The first three robberies Jackson is being sought in connection were all at the TJ Mart at 1959 Kissingbower Road and all occurred within a five-day span – Jackson allegedly held up the TJ Mart on the afternoons of Sunday, March 24th; Monday, March 25th, and Thursday, March 28th.

Jackson is wanted for armed robberies that happened Sunday, March 31st, at the BP at 2161 Gordon HWY and Monday, April 8th, at the Dollar General located at 2549 Deans Bridge Road.

The armed robberies Jackson is accused of committing include another armed robbery at 1959 Kissingbower Road at TJ Mart Wednesday, April 10th, at 7:51 p.m. – a photo from surveillance video from this hold-up was widely circulated in which the robber’s face is completely covered with a black mask, over which they are wearing a white brimmed hat with a pink ribbon.

Jackson is considered Armed & Dangerous. He is known to frequent the areas of Murphy Road and Douglas Street.
