Suspect sought after bank robbery in La Vergne

LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities are working to identify a suspect accused of robbing a bank in La Vergne.

According to the La Vergne Police Department, the incident took place around 4 p.m. on Friday, May 24 at the Regions Bank located on Murfreesboro Road.

The suspect reportedly entered the bank and demanded cash from the teller before fleeing the scene. No threats were made and no weapons were brandished, officials said.

Police said the man was last seen wearing black pants, a blue oversized zip-up hoodie, a shirt that reads “Seattle,” a black beanie, black face covering, blue/white shoes, and a black backpack with a white pattern.
