Suspect in Ga. store shooting held without bond

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Police say a man accused of shooting two women in a suburban Atlanta grocery store crowded with shoppers is being held without bond.

Lawrenceville police Capt. Greg Vaughn told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://bit.ly/1kCmbYQ ) that 42-year-old Leevon Young has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault and weapons violations after Monday's shooting.

Police said the shooting erupted as shoppers stocked up on essentials before an approaching winter storm. Vaughn says a 66-year-old woman was wounded in the abdomen and a 19-year-old woman in one leg. Both were taken to a medical center with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities haven't disclosed a motive in the shooting.

It's unclear if Young, who is being held at a suburban county jail, has an attorney.
