Suspect entered bank, stole employee’s phone: Bakersfield PD

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police are asking for help to identify a man suspected of stealing a bank employee’s phone earlier this month.

The Bakersfield Police Department said on April 1, a suspect entered Chase Bank, in the 1500 block 17th Street, and walked out with a worker’s cellphone. Surveillance images released by police Thursday show the suspect entering the bank.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his early 20s, between 5’10” – 6’0″, weighing around 220 pounds. The suspect has short brown hair and was seen wearing a grey jacket, blue jeans with black Nike shoes.
