Suspect arrested in deadly shooting on River Blvd

BAKESFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting last month in the parking lot of Panorama Park, police said.

Angel Rodriguez is accused of fatally shooting Ronald Josue Rivera Hernandez, police said. He was booked Tuesday on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and is scheduled for arraignment Thursday.

Man gets 6 years in DUI manslaughter case

Officers were dispatched to River Boulevard and Panorama Drive around 11 p.m. on April 19 and found Hernandez, 24, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said. He died at the scene.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and ask anyone with information to call the department at 661-327-7111.
