Suspect allegedly pours gas on car, starts fire in Ogden

OGDEN (KSNT) – On Thursday, Riley County Police Department (RCPD) officers responded to an incident where a suspect allegedly poured gas on a vehicle and set it on fire.

At 9:33 p.m. on May 16, officers were called to the 100 block of Eighth Street in Ogden on a report of aggravated arson and arson involving three victims. According to the RCPD, a suspect known to the victims had allegedly poured gas on a vehicle and set it on fire. The fire then spread to another vehicle and a nearby residence.

No injuries were reported from the incident and the total damage cost is still being determined. The RCPD did not immediately say whether any arrests were made in connection to the incident.
