Suspect accused of carjacking, gas station robbery in Abilene arrested
ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A suspect accused of a carjacking and a gas station robbery in Abilene has been arrested.
Keenan Robertson, 18, of Sweetwater was taken into custody on charges for Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest following an incident at an apartment complex on the 5200 block of Hartford Street Sunday.
A police report states Robertson is accused of holding a victim at gunpoint at the apartment complex, stealing his cell phone and vehicle before fleeing the scene.
The vehicle was recovered a short time later, according to the report, which states investigators then contacted Robertson and learned he had also been involved in a convenience store robbery earlier in the week.
No further information has been released, but additional charges against Robertson are pending.
