Survey Shows Millennials Struggling With Retirement

Investing.com - A majority of millennials expect to experience another economic depression and retire at an older age than their parents.Those are two of the conclusions of a new survey by Aperion Care, which interviewed 2,000 millennials Almost 80% said they expect to live through another major economic downturn in their lifetime, while 60% said they will retire later in life than their parents.The survey also shows that millennials are struggling to save money for retirement and may be underestimating how much is needed for their post working years.Only 58% have started saving for retirement.More than 80% have saved less than $50,000.One in three think they'll need less than $200,000 to retire comfortably.
