New survey will help assist tri-county residents with pressing health concerns

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Healthy! Capital Counties has launched a collaborative Community Health Needs Assessment to better aid and identify pressing health concerns within the capital area.

In a press release, Healthy! Capital Counties says this community survey is one of the first stages that can be completed by anyone who lives or works in Clinton, Eaton, or Ingham counties.

The survey is designed to cover a range of topics such as:

  • access to care

  • barriers to receiving care

  • health concerns

  • community resources

  • social determinates of health (housing, neighborhood, transportation, education, etc)

  • emergency preparedness

Officials say residents sharing their perspectives and experiences, can help shape the future of the health community and contribute to building a healthier tri-county area.

The survey is available here until May 31, 2024.
