The best part? Customers can arrive to the airport 15 minutes before their flight

The California-based airline, Surf Air, is taking the concept of booking last-minute flights to new altitudes. Late last week, the four-year-old company began a new frequent flyer's program that allows its members to fly unlimited trips within Europe. Dubbed the Netflix of travel, Surf Air first gained a reputation with their subscription-based program sending passengers on unlimited domestic trips between twelve destinations in California. The package—which includes such cities as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe—currently goes for a flat monthly fee of $1,950 (in addition to a one-time new member fee).

On Friday, June 23, Surf Air Europe (which is what the sister company is being called) debuted it's maiden trip, sending a private jet from London to Ibiza, Spain. Much like its American-parent company, Surf Air Europe plans to expand within Europe, with priorities on such destinations as Cannes, Zurich, Geneva, and Milan. Subscriptions in Europe will cost $2,230 per month. While this may seem like a steep lump sum for some, many business travelers will be enticed by this price point. Much of that has to do with the fact that customers can book a trip at the last minute using an application on their smart phone. What's more, passengers will only need to arrive to the terminal fifteen minutes prior to take-off. This is due to the fact that Surf Air (and now Surf Air Europe) conduct extensive background checks on all of their members, saving valuable screening time at the airport. On the aircraft, passengers will be able to treat themselves to a bevy of unlimited food and drinks, as there is no flight crew there to assist.

Surf Air Europe currently has one Embraer Phenom 300 private jet in its arsenal. The company, however, plans to feature dozens of more aircrafts within the next three to five years.
