It sure would be 'For the Brand' if Pat McAfee returned to the Colts
Pat McAfee is a busy person these days. Podcast for three hours every weekday. WWE announcing on Friday nights. Occasional WWE bouts. Preparing for college football analysis.
But what if he decided to take up his old gig and punt for the Indianapolis Colts?
At least one current Colt has floated the idea. Here's defensive lineman DeForest Bucker:
@PatMcAfeeShow I know you still got some juice in that leg, last dance? 👀

Preseason finale:How to watch Colts vs. Buccaneers
Buckner's tweet comes in the wake of a torn Achilles suffered in Tuesday's practice by sixth-year veteran Rigoberto Sanchez.
Even Colts special teams coach Bubba Ventrone got in on the fun.

The Colts are reportedly signing Matt Haack, who was recently cut by the Buffalo Bills, to take Sanchez's place. Sanchez also kicks off and holds for place-kicks. (McAfee did that, too, during his eight-year career that included one All-Pro honor and two Pro Bowls.)
McAfee wished Sanchez a speedy recovery.
I am so bummed for @Rigojio88..
He is a gem of a human and an absolute STALLION of a punter.
Godspeed on recovery and I can’t wait to see you come back better than ever.
