Supermodel's Billionaire Heir Son Arrested For Fleeing $28 Cab Fare: Cops

The son of a former supermodel and a billionaire was arrested this week after police say he failed to pay for a cab ride then resisted arrested.

Police in Greenwich, Connecticut arrested 20-year-old Harry Brant--son of Peter Brant and Stephanie Seymour--on July 28 after he allegedly fled a $27.85 cab fare.

According to the Greenwich Patch, officers were contacted about the alleged incident when they say they found Brant walking down the street “sweating profusely and pale in color."

Brant reportedly did not have identification when police requested it. When police informed the wealthy heir he was being arrested, they say he began to shout "No! No!" before allegedly attempting to run away.

Brant was quickly taken to the ground by the officers, who say he was carrying with him a small baggie of white powder that has reportedly since tested positive for narcotics.

Brant was reportedly charged with possession, larceny in the sixth degree and interfering with an officer.

Brant's father, Peter Brant, made his fortune in the paper and publishing business. His mother, Stephanie Seymour, was a top American model of the late 1980's and early 1990's.
