Sunny but cooler today
Sunshine returns to start the week but temperatures will cool down. It was a beautiful and comfortable finish to the weekend with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, but it is going to be cooler today. Make sure you bundle up this morning because it’s going to be cold. Today will be sunny, but only in the low to mid 60s. The below-average nighttime temperatures will occur again tonight into Tuesday morning.
Beyond that, sunshine will be the main headline throughout most of the workweek and temperatures will warm back to the 70s inland tomorrow with all in the 70s on Wednesday. Thursday will be even warmer, in the mid to upper 70s then climbing to around 80 degrees on Friday, ahead of a cold front.
A cold front will move into the Carolinas Friday afternoon, bring the chance for showers along with it. The cold front will stall for the weekend, keeping shower chances around. it will remain warm for the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 70s Saturday then low to mid 70s Sunday.
