Summer Meng declines Mickey Huang's proposal
30 Sep - Taiwanese actress Summer Meng has already given her answer to boyfriend Mickey Huang's recent marriage proposal, and according to UDN News, the answer is no.
Back on 26 September, Taiwanese entertainer Mickey Huang made a public marriage proposal to Summer in his acceptance speech at the Golden Bell Awards, after winning an award for Best Variety Show Host.
Thanking the people who were involved in "Global Chinese Music" that allowed him to win the accolade, the 43-year-old turned the attention to his girlfriend and said, "No matter how many awards I win, let's find a time to get married."
On 28 September, Summer posted a message on Facebook, indirectly rejecting the proposal, saying, "I need to calm down, because I am more touched than I am excited. We don't need to choose between our relationship and career."
"It takes time to plan such a life event," she added.
However, the 24-year-old actress did not forget to congratulate Mickey on his recent win, saying, "I am very happy, rest assured."
