FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Happy Tuesday!
We continue our stretch of summer-like heat today, with highs returning to the upper 80s by this afternoon. We start the day with some cloud coverage, but we’ll see lots of sunshine under just partly cloudy skies by the afternoon. Humidity starts to increase slightly, with a bit of a sticky feel.
By Wednesday, we start the day with a few isolated showers early on, with mainly dry conditions lingering through the daytime hours. Highs top out in the low to middle 80s. We’ll then see showers and thunderstorms returning along a cold front during the evening and overnight into Thursday.
Expect showers to linger through at least the first half of Thursday, before gradually getting lighter and exiting during the afternoon. Highs fall back to the middle 70s, which is near normal.
We’ll see a few spotty showers going into Friday afternoon, with highs warming back near 80.
This weekend will be warm, once again, with a few shower and storm chances.
