Subway restaurant shuts down in Wellsville's Riverwalk Plaza, contents now up for auction

Wellsville’s Subway restaurant in the Riverwalk Plaza appears to have served up its final meal.

RG Mason Auctions of Fillmore has announced a liquidation auction for all the items in the restaurant, which has been a fixture in the Bolivar Road plaza for 25 years, according to the auctioneer.

The store locator on the Subway website also no longer lists Wellsville among its dining options.

The online-only auction started Monday evening and continues through March 21 at 6 p.m. Pickup is scheduled for 2-5 p.m. March 22.
