How to stuff your face with free doughnuts on National Doughnut Day

June 2 is National Doughnut Day, and you know what that means...free doughnuts!

National Doughnut Day was established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I. The holiday is traditionally celebrated on the first Friday of June.

Lucky for us, our doughnut retailer friends are dishing out free treats in honor of everyone's favorite day. Here's where you can get yours:

1. Dunkin' Donuts

At participating Dunkin’ Donuts, you can get a free classic doughnut of your choice with the purchase of any beverage all day Friday. 

2. Krispy Kreme

If you're lucky enough to be anywhere near a Krispy Kreme, pick up one free doughnut of your choice with no purchase necessary at participating locations.

3. Shipley Do-Nuts

Stop by a participating location on Friday from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. to receive one free glazed "do-nut" with your purchase.

4. Cumberland Farms

From 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. at participating Cumberland Farms, get a free doughnut with purchase of any dispensed beverage, which includes hot or iced coffee, fountain or frozen beverages. This deal is only valid at “new concept” and remodeled Cumberland Farms.

5. Duck Donuts

Customers will receive one free, made-to-order doughnut of their choice with any purchase. Receipts printed on Friday also will feature a coupon for a free half-dozen doughnuts when you purchase a half-dozen. Yay, more doughnuts!

6. LaMar's Donuts

Any donut (with a hole) is free, no purchase necessary.

7. Honey Dew Donuts

Get a free Coco Loco Donut with the purchase of any medium drink or larger.

8. Stan's Donuts

Pick yourself up a free donut with any purchase.

Buy a coffee (hot or iced) and mention National Doughnut Day, and you'll score yourself a free donut.

10. Randy's Donuts 

Pop over to Randy's Donuts for free donut holes and a raffle from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
