Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host Fleur East is officially a mother.

The X Factor runner-up turned presenter confirmed that she and husband Marcel Badiane-Robin have welcomed their first child together on her Instagram.

Alongside some photos and a video of the newborn chilling in a carrier, Fleur wrote: "And just like that, our baby girl, Nova, is here!! Our daughter entered the world via squat position into the arms of my Husband and I on our living room floor!

"One day I will share my birth story with you (what a RIDE!), but for now, we are resting and doing well. So thankful to the amazing midwives who were by my side, my birthing partners (my auntie Tina and my Husband @marcel__robin ) and all of our family who have been helping out and showering us with love. It really does take a village!

"So grateful to God for this blessing. Our little Nova was born on the 22nd March and it feels like she's always been here."

Plenty of Fleur's famous friends sent messages of congratulations in the comments. "Fleurrrrrrr you rock star," Oti Mabuse wrote, while Ben Ofoedu commented with a bunch of love heart emojis.

"Congratulations to you both," Johannes Radebe said, as did Claudia Winkleman and Emmerdale's Chris Bisson.

"I can't wait to meet Nova," wrote Neil Jones, while Ella Henderson said: "Just like we all knew … being mamma looks good on you."
